Skin | Wood | Iron listens. When someone in the world uses one of these words in a tweet, it displays the binary code for that word and plays it as a rhythm using the corresponding sound: skin against skin, wood against wood, iron against iron.
Originally composed for live performance by three percussionists, it was reimagined as a purely digital work for the 2020 Edinburgh Science Festival digital edition.
